I was born and raised in Killeen, Texas then moved to Austin almost 15 years ago. I’ve always been an artist at heart and found that Austin would be just the place to nurture that. It was a time of DIY haircuts, secret art shows, and intuitive creativity. Through this DIY initiative, I discovered my new medium: cutting hair.I immediately fell in love with using my hands to create living works of art. Although the Austin I moved to years ago has changed dramatically, one constant has remained the same: the city’s unabashed creative outpour and its subsequent effect.
I enrolled in cosmetology school in 2010 and found that a solid technical foundation paired with creative instinct worked together seamlessly. I’ve always loved school so I began to involve my self with as much continuing education I could get my hands on. I realized that textures, shapes, and trends are ever evolving so I found joy in knowing I will forever be a student.
I love ageless classic cuts but also enjoy experimenting, encouraging my clients to step beyond their comfort zones with a willingness to try something new.
I celebrate inclusivity, and want to nurture the stylistic visions that make you who you are.
I love your good hair days, and I’m happy to be a part of them!
